Gift Shop at Parnassus

The Gift Shop is located on the first floor of the hospital at 505 Parnassus Ave., left of the information desk. You'll find a wide selection of merchandise including baby clothes, books for adults and children, chocolates, fresh flowers and plants, greeting cards, jewelry, magazines, pottery and toys. The shop is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday. To purchase a gift for a hospital patient by phone, call the shop and the staff will arrange the delivery. You also can purchase a gift online.

Gift Shop at Mount Zion

Visit the volunteer-staffed Gift Shop in the lobby of UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion at 1600 Divisadero St. A dedicated group of volunteers will help you find a special gift for your friend and family. Income from the Gift Shop, operated by the Mount Zion Auxiliary, provides funding for many patient services and programs. Our hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Friend to Friend Store at Mount Zion

The Friend to Friend Store at the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center is a one-stop boutique for cancer patients. Shop with the assistance of trained professionals for prostheses, wigs, books on tape, flowers, jewelry and sun-protective clothing including hats. We offer patients and friends of the medical center an opportunity to provide hands-on volunteer support as sales assistants and cashiers. The store, at 1600 Divisadero St., is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

Flower arrangements and plants are available from You See Flowers, located in the Millberry Union Plaza, 500 Parnassus Ave. The shop is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Tuesday and Thursday, it is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flowers also are available in the hospital Gift Shop at Parnassus.
