Ayurveda for Optimal Health
Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine from India. This workshop "Ayurveda for Optimal Health — A Physician-Guided Workshop on Creating Your Own Ayurvedic Wellness Plan" focuses on promoting vibrant health through careful attention to your nutrition, physical activity, circadian rhythms, seasonal and environmental influences, psychological propensities and mind-body practices.
Instructors include Dr. Sudha Prathikanti, an associate clinical professor of pyschiatry at UCSF and director of Behavioral Medicine at San Francisco General Hospital's Primary Care Medicine Program, and Dr. Anand Dhruva, an assistant clinical professor of hematology and oncology at UCSF. The workshop will be held at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, 1701 Divisadero St., Suite 150. The cost is $225 for advance registration. Please bring a lunch.
