Sports Medicine Center
The UCSF Sports Medicine Center cares for athletes of all levels, from the weekend warrior to the professional. Our goal is to get each patient back to the highest level of physical activity possible, whether that means returning to a daily two-mile jog or reporting for practice with the NFL. Our team includes orthopedic surgeons, family medicine specialists, physical therapists and fitness experts, all of whom work together to tailor treatment plans to each patient's needs. An expert on women's sports injuries is also on the team.
We welcome patients at two locations in San Francisco: One at our Mission Bay campus and the other at Mount Zion (details below).
