High-Risk Skin Cancer Clinic
The UCSF High-Risk Skin Cancer Clinic provides the most advanced medical and surgical care for patients at high risk for nonmelanoma skin cancer. These include:
- Organ and bone marrow transplant recipients
- People with certain genetic syndromes, such as basal cell nevus syndrome, Bazex syndrome, Rombo syndrome and xeroderma pigmentosum
- Leukemia and lymphoma patients, including those with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
- Patients with long-term iatrogenic immunosuppression – a suppressed immune system caused by medical treatment
- Those with long-term HIV
