Center for Geriatric Care
The UCSF Center for Geriatric Care offers personalized care from doctors who specialize in the needs and concerns of older adults. Our nurses and social workers are also trained in supporting the health of seniors.
The center provides psychiatry, psychology and phlebotomy (blood draw) services on-site. Physical therapy and imaging services are available nearby. Our patients also have access to many other UCSF specialists and health professionals.
We provide a range of care for older adults, including:
- Primary care for adults age 85 or older living in San Francisco
- Primary care for adults ages 75 to 84 living in San Francisco who either depend on others for help with basic daily activities or are experiencing memory impairment
- Primary care for adults ages 65 to 74 living in San Francisco who have been diagnosed with dementia
- Consultative visits to support ongoing care for adults age 65 or older who have a primary care provider at UCSF
