Bayfront Medical Building

The UCSF Bayfront Medical Building, is home to a brand-new, convenient adult outpatient center for scheduled medical appointments as well as urgent care. The building, located on our Mission Bay campus, opened its doors in August 2024.

To schedule today, scroll down to "Our locations" and call us. For existing UCSF patients, primary care appointments can be scheduled through MyChart. We are also offering a new primary care service, Express Care, for select needs. Express Care is an on-demand video visit with an APP and can be set up in MyChart.

We provide most types of health care, including:

Other amenities and services include:

  • Valet parking
  • Attached garage parking with walkway into building
  • Café
  • Pharmacy (see details on our Mission Bay page)
  • Radiology, including X-ray, ultrasound and CT

Imaging services and results

We offer X-ray, ultrasound and CT. We use state-of-the-art equipment that yields the best possible image quality while minimizing our patients' exposure to radiation.

Call (415) 353-3900 to schedule an imaging appointment. If you're an established UCSF patient, you may be able to schedule some appointments via MyChart. X-ray exams are on a walk-in basis and do not require an appointment.

For imaging results, learn how to access your radiology imaging results and how to send images to UCSF.

Note: If you think you might be experiencing a life-threatening emergency or are having symptoms such as serious shortness of breath, chest pain, or sudden paralysis of the arms or legs, call 911 immediately or go directly to the emergency room.
