Orthotics & Prosthetics Center at Mission Bay
The UCSF Orthotics & Prosthetics Center at Mission Bay evaluates, designs, custom fits and manufactures all types of orthotics (supportive devices such as splints and braces) and prostheses (artificial limbs) to meet patients' needs. Our team includes doctors, a physical therapist, and specialists in orthotics and prosthetics who work together to develop personalized care and rehabilitation plans. We are recognized throughout the state for our expertise in the latest technologies and for the quality of care we provide.
We contract with most insurance companies, and our administrative staff is experienced in working with managed care insurance plans.
