Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Clinic
The UCSF Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Clinic brings together vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists to provide the most advanced treatments for vascular diseases. We diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular disorders, including:
- Arterial blockages
- Aneurysms
- Carotid artery disease
- Cavernous malformations (for which the advocacy group Angioma Alliance has named UCSF a Center of Excellence)
- Dural arteriovenous fistulae
- Peripheral artery disease
- Chronic venous insufficiency
In addition, we have expertise in less common disorders, such as:
- Thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms (TAAA)
- Hyperhidrosis
- Arterial graft infections
- Blocked arteries to the kidneys or intestines
- Thoracic outlet syndrome
What sets us apart
Our clinic sets the standard for treatment of complex vascular conditions. This tradition of excellence and innovation continues with our development of safer, less invasive techniques for vascular disease, including endovascular aneurysm repair and catheter-based treatment of arterial blockages.
At our Vascular Laboratory, we also use non-invasive techniques to diagnose and monitor vascular conditions.
To learn more about our approach to vascular and endovascular treatment, read a Q&A with Dr. Michael Conte, co-director of UCSF's Heart and Vascular Center.
