Line Jacques

Seems to just repeat what the radiologist wrote which I already read myself. Wanted more insight from her & her thoughts on my overall condition. Forward looking opinion on my condition.

Dr. Jacques is very friendly, easy to talk to, and a good listener. She inspires my confidence.

Bedside manner was disappointing

Excellent, both providers listened even though there's not much that can be done to improve my pain.

I like her, the way she thinks and her attentiveness. This was an after surgery visit I believe it would have been much more through had I been there.

Dr Jacques is a superb provider. She listens, knows what needs to be done to tackle the problems.

I feel I'm being cared for and sincerity from my provider

Dr. Jacques is clearly no-nonsense and it was clear that she would not have all of the information needed until completion of follow-up radiology and other tests. She was not inclined to guess about the final diagnosis or treatment options. I appreciate that.

My test results were not there -even after 3 weeks time. That was the whole reason for this visit.

My initial consultation was informative. More tests are needed before any recommendations can be made.

Doctor seemed a little rushed

My doctors at Uc Davis consider Dr. Jacques one of the best in the country for neurosurgery!

Next steps were very unclear, and the after-visit summary took a long time to show up in the EHR.

Despite rules regarding the pandemic changing, Dr. Refused to allow me to bring my spouse in during my appointment. My spouse canceled work to come with me, and it meant a great deal for me to have him by my side during the visit. Even when I asked, it was told to me that there were no exceptions and that this was her personal preference. I think this doctor is very highly skilled, and very intelligent. But I think it's very unkind and not patient centered to allow people to bring one designated person in with them to their appointment. We wore masks and we are up-to-date on our Covid vaccine. At no point prior to my appointment did anybody tell me about her personal policy. This was the most upsetting thing as I did not get a text an email or any phone calls or warnings that I couldn't bring somebody. It was very frustrating and unprofessional.

I appreciate the level of care

Used words like lesions' and tumor' like it was no big deal. Suggested follow up in a year. When I pushed they agreed to 6 months. Poor bedside' manner. Gave accurate, unempathetic information. I know they see much sicker people but this was my health she was talking about.

The experience at the hospital was very very good.the medical staff was very concerned about my well being

UCSF has been the best, at least in Dr. Jacques realm

Great, except for wait time

Took 3 months to get this appt just for the provider to deny access to patient's caretaker/translator. Provider was not aware of patient's overall condition. And this unable to provide the correct course of treatment.

Obviously, I am very pleased with Doctor Jacques; she is very pleasant and approachable.

Dr. Line is excellent provider. She is comprehensive, caring and likes to teach which are all good traits for patient care!

Good listener and ask and she asked many questions about condition.

Dr. Jacques and her team are extremely helpful in discussing things with me and very responsive in helping me with appointments and scheduling

1st doctor,Dr Jacques, out of 4 specialists that knew what I was dealing with and explained next steps very well!

I can't say enough about the doctor and the staff. I've never been treated as well anywhere else. What a fabulous institution.

I had no problems with any questions I had about my surgery

Dr. Jacques is specialty provide referred by another UCSF doctor which took a while to get an appt with Dr Jacques books up and is in high demand. It took more than a week just to get an appointment date. You can only leave messages (listen to recording when you call the office) Then you play phone tag to get an appointment which was two months out. On top of that..... Wait a few months after seeing her to get an MRI.

I feel very fortunate to have found Dr Jacque .

Dr Jacques is never in a rush. She will listen and answer all questions.

My experience with provider is limited

Dr. Jacques is a world-class surgeon! I'm very lucky to a found her!

I asked follow up questions they had already answered. But they were so patient with me

It took a long time to receive an appointment and frustration getting through to make the appointment BUT Dr. Jacques was excellent. I am glad I made the journey to see her.

Would have really liked my wife to be present for the discussion with the doctor regarding the surgery. She was unable to be in the room and meet the doctor due to covid restrictions.

Dr. Jacques was absolutely wonderful! She is very knowledgable and made me feel very comfortable before, during, and after the procedure.
