UCSF Health offers state-of-the-art treatment for reproductive system cancers in men and for urinary tract cancers in all patients. Our many specialists – genitourinary oncologists, radiation oncologists, urologic surgeons, radiologists and pathologists – work together closely to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each patient's wishes and cancer type. We strive to give patients the best possible quality of life by educating them on their specific condition and treatment options, supporting them through the process and addressing the effects of cancer therapies during treatment and beyond.
We offer the full range of treatments, including advanced options such as targeted therapy, which attacks the cancer without damaging healthy cells, and immunotherapy, which harnesses the patient's own immune system to fight the cancer. As a national leader in cancer research, we're also engaged in a number of studies to advance the understanding and treatment of genitourinary cancers. These include imaging techniques that will improve our ability to personalize treatment to each person's cancer. Many of our patients have the option to join a clinical trial.
To make it easier for patients to access advanced genitourinary cancer care wherever they live, we have locations throughout the Bay Area.
We are part of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
