Allyson Scott is a genetic counselor who cares for patients needing prenatal diagnostic care. She also cares for patients in the obstetrics and gynecology department at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. She specializes in hemoglobinopathies, which are disorders affecting red blood cells (such as sickle cell disease).

Scott received her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of California, San Diego, followed by a master's degree in genetic counseling from Northwestern University. She is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
