Christian Vivero is an orthopedic physical therapist who cares for patients with musculoskeletal injuries. His patients range from weekend warriors to competitive athletes.

In research, Vivero is studying the effectiveness of a peer mentorship program for undergraduate students seeking admission to physical therapy training programs.

Vivero earned his doctor of physical therapy degree through UCSF's joint program with San Francisco State University.

Outside of work, Vivero is a black belt in judo, Brazilian jujitsu practitioner and backyard barbecuer.
