Dr. Aaron Kornblith is an emergency medicine doctor who specializes in caring for children with serious illnesses and injuries. He serves as director of pediatric emergency ultrasound.
Kornblith's research focuses on using ultrasound to improve the diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric emergencies, including those involving respiratory disease or traumatic injury.
Kornblith received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at UCSF, followed by fellowships in pediatric emergency medicine and pediatric emergency ultrasound at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland.
Kornblith is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, American Academy of Pediatrics and P2Network, which supports doctors using point-of-care ultrasound in emergency care of children.
