Dr. Ada Ip is an interventional cardiologist who specializes in percutaneous coronary interventions (a minimally invasive procedure to open blocked heart arteries) for coronary artery disease, acute myocardial infarction (heart attack), heart failure and cardiogenic shock. In addition, she has expertise in advanced diagnostic tests and procedures—such as stress tests and invasive coronary reactivity testing and angiography—for a wide range of heart conditions within general cardiology, including valvular heart disease, arrhythmias (abnormal heart rhythm), and cardiomyopathy (disease of the heart muscle).

Ip earned her medical degree at the Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed a fellowship in general cardiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at UCSF.
