About me
Dr. Ammar Joudeh is an obstetrician and gynecologist who provides preconception, prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. He also provides comprehensive care to meet sexual health and family planning needs, such as contraception; to manage menopause; and to address gynecologic conditions, including abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, ovarian cysts, vulvar conditions, pelvic pain, endometriosis, menopause and abnormal Pap tests. He performs minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and in-office procedures. Centering care on each patient's needs, values and preferences, he embraces shared decision-making and individually tailored treatment plans.
Joudeh earned his medical degree at UCSF and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, San Diego. Prior to medical school, he conducted research on maternal health, infectious disease and educational programs in Zambia, India and the Philippines. His academic interests include improving the quality of obstetric and gynecologic care, as well as teaching medical students and residents.
Outside of work, Joudeh enjoys yoga, surfing, skiing, reading and music.
