About me
Dr. Andrea Nañez is a gynecologic oncologist who cares for patients with cervical, uterine, ovarian and vulvar cancers. She provides both surgical and medical treatments, including chemotherapy.
Her research focuses on disparities in clinical trials (evaluations of promising treatments using human volunteers), including how to help patients better understand these studies. She is committed to improving equity within the field of gynecologic oncology.
She earned her medical degree at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
