Hematologist-oncologist
Outdoor enthusiast, amateur cyclist and global explorer

Dr. Carrie Ho is a hematologist-oncologist who focuses on blood cancers, including Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. She has expertise in advanced therapies, such as stem cell transplantation and CAR T-cell therapy (in which the patient's T cells are genetically modified to target cancer cells).

In her research, Ho leads clinical trials – studies that evaluate experimental treatments using human volunteers – that evaluate new targeted therapies and immunotherapy for patients with lymphoma. She also studies how these treatments impact patients' quality of life. Her goal is to find better, more effective treatment options with fewer side effects, and to ensure that patients feel supported throughout their cancer journey.

Ho earned her medical degree at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in hematology-oncology at the University of Washington, training at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
