Dr. Gregory Allen is a thoracic medical oncologist, a specialist is the use of chemotherapy and other medications to treat cancers in the chest. He cares for patients with lung cancer and other conditions of the lungs, chest or esophagus.
Allen's research focuses on developing and investigating the use of engineered immune cells to target and treat cancer.
Allen earned his medical and doctoral degrees in Stanford Medicine's Medical Scientist Training Program. He completed an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Medicine, followed by a fellowship in medical oncology at UCSF.
