Dr. Huat Lim is a gastrointestinal oncologist who specializes in caring for patients with liver and bile duct cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma. He provides care primarily in the hospital.

Lim's research focuses on using computational techniques to develop new ways to treat hepatocellular carcinoma, the most common form of primary liver cancer.

Lim earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at UCSF, where he served as chief fellow.

Lim is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and has received an AACR Scholar-in-Training Award.
