About me
Dr. James L. Rembert is a radiation oncologist who specializes in treating various types of cancer, brain and spinal cord tumors, cancers of the reproductive and urinary systems, lung cancers and other cancers in the chest, and bone or soft tissue tumors (sarcomas). His path to becoming a radiation oncologist began with personal tragedy, losing both his brother and a friend to cancer while in college. These experiences ignited his passion for oncology and shaped his approach to patient care. Understanding the challenges firsthand, he strives to treat each patient and their family with empathy and compassion.
Rembert earned his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a residency in radiation oncology at UCSF.
