They said fasting was not an issue for 1 hour glucose test but studies show it makes you twice as likely to fail, which I did.

Dr. Thompson is my favorite OB! I felt so lucky to have gotten her for my first prenatal appointment 10 months ago, sad that I couldn't fit into her schedule for the rest of my pregnancy, and absolutely thrilled to get her for my 6 week post party visit. She genuinely listens to and takes time with me. And she actually does a physical exam on me (whereas many of the other OBs have encountered literally never touched me, making me wonder why I would bother going to a doctor anyway). Dr. Thompson is the best!!!

    I'm still afraid of induction

When asked about risk of preeclampsia considering my specific health condition, provider seemingly made up a statistic. Upon reading several research papers on the issue, the risk statistic she shared and efficacy of suggested mitigation was inaccurate and not consistent with available research.

I had a very positive experience with Dr Thompson. She demonstrated care for me as a person and listened to my concerns and was overall very friendly and pleasant. She was also very knowledgeable.

I understand my provider is not a psych dr, but I felt like she didn't have any empathy for the stress and mental strain that pregnancy has had on me. I felt like I was being rushed during the appointment.

I received unfortunate news about my health but the doctor was very patient and answered all our questions clearly. I hope that if I return I'm able to see the same doctor.
