Dr. Jonathan Weiss is a perinatologist who has cared for patients in the East Bay experiencing high-risk pregnancies for more than three decades. He developed the legacy prenatal diagnosis center at East Bay Perinatal Medical Associates and for UCSF Benioff Children's Physicians (UBCP) to provide cutting-edge care to patients throughout the East Bay. As a provider, his goal is to help patients through this challenging time in their lives.
Weiss directed the legacy UBCP prenatal diagnosis program and is now one of the leaders of the new practice, overseeing critical diagnostic procedures used to assess fetal well-being. He brings to his work a highly intuitive understanding of technology's ever-increasing role in maternal-fetal medicine.
Weiss earned his medical degree at Tufts University, where he also completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. He completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at St. Margaret's Hospital for Women.
This provider works with UCSF through an arrangement with UCSF Benioff Children's Physicians (UBCP), a multispecialty physician foundation connecting physicians and group practices throughout the greater Bay Area.
