Dr. Kamesh Krishnamurthy is a neurologist who cares for patients with acquired brain injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries and neurological injuries related to cardiac arrest.

In his research, Krishnamurthy investigates novel treatment options for neurological injuries.

Krishnamurthy earned his medical degree and a doctorate in computational neuroscience from Duke University. He completed a residency in neurology at UCSF.

    I'm very happy with the visit. He made me feel heard and asked a lot of helpful questions. It really shows that he wanted to better understand my condition and what I'm going through. And I'm extremely grateful for the detailed follow up care instructions that he provided with me. I'm really looking forward to having upcoming treatment with Dr. Krishnamurthy in the future.

    Dr. Krishnamurthy is excellent; I have already made referrals to him. It's rare to find a doctor this informed and skilled and thorough in diagnosing, overseeing, and facilitating the specific patient needs and recoveries.

    Dr Krishnamurthy is great. He clearly explained test results, was open to all questions, and adjusted plans as needed. He also provided lots of reassurance of other options to address my issues if the current plan doesn't work

    Dr K is amazing. It was a long path to get him but I so glad the path took me to him. While I have only seen him twice so far, he seems very knowledgeable and specialized. He is also very friendly and approachable. He spends a lot if time explaining things thoroughly and answering all of my questions. I appreciate him very much!

    I've seen at least a half dozen neurologist following my two brain traumas and the care that I experienced from Dr. Obat and Dr. Krishnamurthy is unparalleled. I can only image the speed and ease of my recovery if I had physicians and treatment like what I experienced at my visit yesterday.

    Dr Krishnamurthy is amazing. He is clearly very specialized In neuro recovery and concussion. I feel like I am in very good hands under his care. His communication during the appointment and clear summary and instructions in the after visit summary were excellent and timely. He was able to explain things to me in an understandable way, where previous local doctors had not been able to. I feel very lucky to have been referred to Dr Krishnamurthy. Thank you!

    My unrushed consultation with Dr. K was one of if not the best experience I've had with a Dr. He listened to, respected and engaged with me in a patient, friendly and knowledgeable way. He educated me in a way I could comprehend, answered my many questions, respected my intelligence, had a sense of humor, and developed a reasonable plan by end of visit. I marvel at how Dr. K was able to ease my concern over an anxiety-producing neuro problem.

    Dr. Krishnamurthy is a caring and knowledgeable neurologist with genuine concern for the patient. He took the time and care to provide a very thorough exam, the best I've received from a medical doctor. He addressed my concerns and I never felt rushed. After seeing multiple doctors, I feel I have found the perfect place for recovery.

    Dr.K really took the time to listen to me explain where I was with my symptoms. He never rushed me rather encourage me to share my TBI experience. He expressed that what I have been going through is NORMAL, those simple words made me feel human again.

    Dr. Didn't listen well. Most if what I told him was ignored. I'm self employed. He gave me accomidations for my employer. I haven't been able to work for 15 years. I had a refferal for a concussion clinic to go through testing and get long term help. My neurologist and Dr.s and therapists and surgeons all keep trying to get me specific care. 15 years waiting and I got one appointment. Was not proffessional on behalf of UCSF staff to schedule wrong appointment type.

    Dr. K was the best doctor I've ever had. So competent, inquisitive, thorough, and incredible interpersonal skills. I felt cared for and that I am in good hands.
