Dr. Katie Grouse is a neurologist who cares for patients with a variety of neurological conditions. She has special training in electromyography (testing used to assess the health of muscles and the nerves controlling them).

Grouse earned her medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She completed a residency in neurology at Rush University Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in neurophysiology and electromyography at UCSF.

As a general neurologist, I provide a broad spectrum of neurological care and work closely with my colleagues in neurology subspecialties. I evaluate and treat most neurologic conditions, including vertigo, headache, numbness, tingling, weakness and episodic disorders.

    The doctor was the best I have seen for this problem. She actually listened to what I had to say and believed me when I spoke about what I was experiencing. Two other neurologists dismissed me and told me I would have to live with the problem. I am so thankful to have found this provider.

    Dr. Grouse is amazing! She goes above and beyond and has a real concern about your health issues. She is not one to just listen to you and send you out the door, she looks for solutions.

    My most trusted doctor Dr Grouse, I wish I could find a primary doctor like her ! It's so hard to get good medical care where I live. I have confidence in her and the other doctors at UCSF !I drove a long ways to get there, that's the only bad part. Excellent care !! A true blessing !!

    Dr. Grouse is an outstanding physician. She listens, is sincerely engaged in assuring she does everything possible for her to do that improves the quality of life. She communicates with the other physicians on my care team at UCSF to ensure a holistic approach to my wellbeing. Everyone would be blessed to have her as a physician

    I absolutely adore Dr Grouse. She makes every appointment easy and friendly. She has always listened to me, when I was at my end of trying with doctors. She never made me feel like I was a bother like so many other physicians. I will drive 4 hours to see her forever.

    Again, I always come at end of day/last appt for Dr Grouse and she always spends time talking about how I've been feeling, answering questions, etc. I know she has a family and she's now expecting so I know she must want to get home at that point and she never ever rushes me. She's really great.
