Dr. Adjepong is incredibly compassionate and one of the best providers I've had at UCSF. He always makes me feel heard and gives me strategies to help me with managing my care. He's one of the few providers who makes me still respect UCSF because on the whole I've not had a good experience.

One of the best experiences with a provider that I have ever had. The first thing I said to my partner when I left the office was "Wow he was great."Out of the gate came in with compassion and asked about my experience. Was extremely open to my interpretations of the experience without questioning what I was feeling/had felt. Still maintained professional objectivity at the same time. Listened to the full story of what had happened despite how long it was, and was very good at ensuring he had all the information before moving on to the next part of the story. We sat in the room with him for likely longer than expected, just because he wanted to make sure he had everything right. This is in contrast to the common experience of being shuffled out of appointments elsewhere and likely saved us all a follow-up. He was as constructive as possible and gave concrete examples of ways I could mitigate future risk. Huge thanks to Kwame for putting us at ease.

My issues mostly discussed with the team are secondary comfort/pain issues for which they offered no response or suggestion. No palliative care or comfort.
