Dr. Laura Crocitto is a urologist who specializes in oncology.

In research, Crocitto is interested in the use of molecular markers – molecules in blood or tissues that can indicate abnormality – for early detection of prostate cancer.

Crocitto earned her medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She completed a residency in urology and a fellowship in urologic oncology at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. She also has a master's degree in health administration from the University of Southern California. She is a member of the American Urological Association and Society of Urologic Oncology.

    Dr. Crocitto was extremely thorough and detailed about what she was looking for, what my symptoms and tests might indicate and what the process is for checking and following up. She didn't dumb it down or treat anything dismissively - she just explained it so I could understand it so much better. I am extremely impressed.

    For the first time since being diagnosed with prostate cancer I felt as if I had a doctor that was genuinely invested in determining the exact nature of the condition, the risk assessment and coming to an Informed treatment plan. When we parted Dr. Crocitto looked at me and said, " We will figure this out. I got you." I cannot express fully how meaningful that was to me.
