I had to make the decision of options of what to do. Not my doctor. This is not helpful.

Dr. Rao is wonderful! Followed through with Radiology and called me right away with the answers.

Dr Ray was thoroughly professional and excellent in understanding my condition.

Provider understood concern about ongoing monitoring of condition & frequency of invasive tests resulting from such monitoring by (1) acknowledging the concern and (2) doing her best to adjust the interval of required testing; although not freedom from such testing, such a result is the next best thing (and likely the ideal way for a provider to handle such a concern, even if a given patient shouldn't require any such monitoring).

Dr. Rao is ALWAYS, ALWAYS very caring. She really cares about her patients well being. I am very grateful I am under her care. Thank you, Dr. Rao.

She either remembers or carefully reviews my records before starting the visit based on her questions and discussion.

Some lateness, but I understand how busy they are

Sometimes it seems that the Endocrinology Dept isn't connected to the gastro, Or oncology and surgery depts . Perhaps all these branches of medicine are connected within UCSF internal system and meetings etc, but as patient, I'm left feeling concerned often that my case and it's oversight is compartmentalized where the specialty areas all must overlap but I'm left worried often that perhaps they do not ?

Worst provider ever with a complete lack of empathy and full of excuses/assumptions. Clearly, she has never been a patient herself. She is great the first appointment and after that, she wants nothing to do with you. Zero accountability. A complete shame to the profession.
