Dr. Maki Nakazato provides comprehensive care to older adults. Her expertise includes palliative care, a subspecialty that focuses on improving quality of life for patients with serious illnesses. Her goal is to individualize treatments for each of her patients to align with what matters most to them.

Nakazato earned her medical degree at Sidney Kimmel Medical College. She completed a residency in family medicine at Chestnut Hill Hospital. She completed a fellowship in geriatrics at Stanford University and a fellowship in palliative care at the University of Virginia.

In her free time, Nakazato enjoys reading hard copy books, listening to music, singing, playing with her guinea pig, and watching movies and TV dramas.
