Melicent Peck

Dr. Melicent Peck is an infectious disease specialist who cares for patients with a broad range of bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic infections. Her expertise includes treating infections associated with implanted medical devices.

In her research, Peck focuses on developing new antibiotics to treat serious bacterial infections and on addressing the challenges of bringing new infectious disease therapies to patients.

Peck earned her medical degree and a doctorate in biological sciences at Stanford University, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine. At UCSF, she completed a fellowship in infectious diseases, advanced training in clinical research, and the American Course on Drug Development and Regulatory Sciences Program.

Peck is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
