Dr. Olivia A. Bernal provides primary care for older adults. She specializes in managing complex medical conditions, syndromes related to advanced age and the unique health care needs of older adults. She is passionate about supporting the emotional and physical well-being of her patients, focusing not only on treating their conditions but also on enhancing their quality of life. She strives to help them retain their independence and continue doing the things that bring them joy.

Bernal earned her medical degree and a master's degree in public health from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins University and a fellowship in geriatrics and palliative care at UCSF. She has a special interest in teaching geriatric care to internal medicine residents.
