About me
Dr. Rina Patel is a radiologist with a particular interest in sports imaging, including musculoskeletal ultrasound, which is also the focus of her research program. She is the director of the Musculoskeletal Fellowship Program at UCSF.
Patel earned her medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and served as chief resident at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She also completed a research fellowship at UCSF. Prior to joining UCSF, she was an assistant professor in the musculoskeletal imaging section of the Loyola University Health System's radiology department.
Patel has published several articles, both peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed, as well as 13 abstracts.
