Dr. Roberto R. Ricardo-Gonzalez is a dermatologist who cares for adults with a range of skin conditions.

Ricardo-Gonzalez serves as faculty in UCSF's graduate program in biomedical sciences and is an investigator at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network. He leads a laboratory investigating skin immunology, with research focusing on how inflammation affects organ physiology and contributes to disease.

Ricardo-Gonzalez earned his medical degree and a doctorate in immunology at Stanford University. He completed a residency in dermatology at UCSF.

    Horrible experience - the doctor was dismissive of my skin conditions, when ask to scan for skin discolorations on my back he literally took 5 seconds to look at it and seemed annoyed that I waste his time

    Dr Ricardo-Gonzalez was thorough, and gave me confidence in his exam and minor treatments. He also made me feel he saw me as a person, not just a patient, when asking me about family holiday plans etc. Was a nice experience.
