Rutvij Pandya

Dr. Rutvij Pandya is a family medicine doctor who provides primary care. His specialties include geriatrics, palliative care, chronic disease management, preventive medicine and healthy aging.

Pandya earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He also completed a residency in family medicine there, receiving the 2023 Resident of the Year Award. He completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center, with training at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Pandya feels fortunate to have had great mentors who were his role models for the kind of primary care provider and geriatrician he wanted to become. He is also passionate about the intersection of medicine and the humanities.

In his free time, Pandya enjoys getting to know San Francisco through road and trail running as well as exploring the city’s architecture.
