Sungat K. Grewal

Dr. Sungat K. Grewal is a dermatologic surgeon who specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, laser procedures and cosmetic dermatology. As co-director of laser surgery and aesthetic medicine, she combines expertise cutting-edge skin cancer treatments with aesthetic procedures, prioritizing skin health while enhancing her patients' natural beauty. She is dedicated to crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and aspirations. She provides numerous cosmetic interventions, including injectables, light-based therapies and a broad range of laser treatments.

Grewal earned her medical degree from the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and completed a residency in dermatology at UCSF. Following her residency, she pursued an advanced fellowship in Mohs surgery and lasers at the University of California, Irvine. She co-directed UC Irvine's aesthetic and plastic surgery program and served as director of diversity, equity and inclusion within the department.

Grewal serves on the membership and safety boards of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). She is also a recognized educator, teaching laser surgery at hands-on workshops and continuing medical education courses hosted by leading organizations, including the ASLMS and the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology; an associate of the American College of Mohs Surgery; and an active member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Association of Academic Cosmetic Dermatology.

Outside of work, Grewal is an international marathoner and avid hiker.
