Isabel Curtin is a social worker who advocates for patients receiving blood and bone marrow transplants or cellular therapies. Working as part of a care team, she provides practical and emotional support to patients and their families as they navigate treatment, helping them cope with the impacts of their diagnosis. She strives to ensure that all of her patients receive the best possible care. Her previous experience includes being a social worker in an adult intensive care unit and a care provider for adults with disabilities.
Curtin earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She earned her master's degree in social welfare from UC Berkeley.
