Jessica Evaristo is a physical therapist who cares for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including pelvic disorders. One of her areas of focus is pain in the lower back, hip or sacroiliac joint (where the lower back and pelvis connect). In addition to helping patients with pelvic pain or incontinence, she has specific interests in working with pregnant patients to strengthen the pelvic region before they give birth and to heal the area during the postpartum period. Her approach to patient care is to pair empathetic communication with education on the latest research findings, with the goal of empowering individuals to manage their own physical health. She enjoys guiding patients who want to explore the intricate connections between the musculoskeletal system, pelvic health and the nervous system, and she strives to increase access to pelvic health services.

Evaristo earned her doctor of physical therapy degree from the University of Southern California. She completed a residency in clinical orthopedic physical therapy at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, where she worked with patients recovering from chronic neurological conditions, such as spinal cord injuries, stroke, demyelinating disorders, limb amputations and peripheral neuropathy. She also completed continuing education courses through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and received clinical mentorship in managing pelvic health conditions.

Evaristo is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is APTA-certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist. She is passionate about educating physical therapy students and mentoring physical therapy residents.
