Julie Kesterson

Julie Kesterson is a nurse who cares for patients receiving treatments for digestive system cancers. She is passionate about helping her patients maximize their quality of life and about reducing the burden of their symptoms.

Kesterson has a bachelor's degree in health sciences from California State University, East Bay. She earned a master's degree in nursing from the University of San Francisco. She is a certified oncology nurse and certified hospice and palliative care nurse. She began her career at UCSF in hematology, serving as a blood and bone marrow transplant nurse for patients in the hospital.
