Kati Malabed is a genetic counselor who specializes in prenatal diagnostic testing.

Malabed earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Trinity College. She earned her master's degree in genetic counseling at the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health.

Malabed joined UCSF in 1996. She is a native San Franciscan.
