Michael Lister is a nurse who cares for patients with neuroendocrine tumors, including those of the digestive tract, as well as other gastrointestinal cancers.
Lister has been involved in research focused on simulation techniques for training health care students in telehealth and telenursing. He has also studied augmented reality technology (using computer-generated images in real-life settings) as a tool to enhance realism in clinical simulation.
Lister has a bachelor's degree in nursing from the Duke University School of Nursing. He is a certified oncology nurse.
