Regina Holan Gould is a physician assistant who cares for patients with conditions of the ear, nose, throat, head or neck. She assists with surgeries, provides postsurgical care and sees patients in the clinic. She is especially interested in treating sinus disease and airway emergencies and in addressing cross-cultural barriers to health care delivery.
Gould earned a master of public health degree and a master of medical science degree from a joint program of the Emory School of Medicine and Emory's Rollins School of Public Health. She also completed Emory's residency in critical care medicine for nurse practitioners and physician assistants. She joined UCSF in 2016.
Gould played Division I soccer as an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, then played professionally in Europe after graduation. In her spare time, she likes to give back to the sport by coaching.
