Sherry Chen is a pharmacist who cares for patients with cancer. With expertise in both solid tumors and blood cancers, she is involved in every stage and aspect of care, including diagnosis, education, treatment, medication management, monitoring and supportive care. She works closely with medical oncologists and nurse practitioners to enhance treatment safety and optimize patient outcomes.
Chen earned her bachelor's degree in pharmacy at the University of Toronto. She has been practicing in the oncology field for 10 years and earned her board certification in oncology in 2018. She was recognized on UCSF's cancer center honor roll in 2022.
Outside of work, Chen enjoys hiking, traveling and cooking.
