About me
Stacy Mae Alabastro is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients undergoing surgery for cancers of the digestive system. She has a particular interest in surgical interventions for liver and pancreas cancer.
Alabastro earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing at New York University (NYU). She completed a fellowship in critical care medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
In collaboration with nurse practitioners from NYU and the University of Pennsylvania, Alabastro contributed to a textbook called Advanced Physiology and Pathophysiology: Essentials for Clinical Practice, which won the American Journal of Nursing's Book of the Year for Advanced Practice Nursing in 2020.
