Theresa Johnson is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients having surgery. She monitors them before and after their procedures and addresses any nighttime emergencies that arise. One of her key roles is to ensure smooth day-to-day operations by proactively anticipating patients' postsurgical needs.

Johnson earned her master's degree in nursing at UCSF. Committed to lifelong learning, she is actively involved in coordinating UCSF's grand rounds – educational presentations on a variety of topics – for advanced practice providers.
