Zooming Through Pregnancy to Parenthood: Prenatal Health Education in a Community Model

Health education
Searching for the information you need to support your own wellness can be overwhelming. We offer resources to help you learn more about your health, including:
- The Great Expectations Pregnancy Program. Find classes on pregnancy, birthing, breastfeeding and parenting. All classes are currently held on Zoom. To register or get more information, please call the Women's Health Resource Center at (415) 514-2670.
Lactation services
The center offers resources for breastfeeding patients, including lactation supplies, UCSF locations that have breast-pumping stations, a deluxe breastfeeding glider and referrals to other services.
Resources and referrals
The UCSF Women's Health Center provides complete services, including primary care as well as obstetrics and gynecology. We work closely with a network of specialty services focused on the health needs of women.
Our sister department, UCSF's national center of excellence in women's health, can connect you with groups and programs in the greater Bay Area that provide health-related opportunities, assistance and resources. Through our partnership, we can help you access information on nutrition and exercise, smoking cessation, body image, violence prevention, mental health, pregnancy and childbirth, parenting and more.
