Outpatient Surgery Center

The UCSF Outpatient Surgery Center at the Bayfront Medical Building provides same-day surgeries in a wide variety of specialties for patients 18 and older.

Some of the procedures we commonly perform are cataract and other eye surgeries; urological procedures, such as kidney stone removal; hernia repair; gallbladder removal; sinus, ear and other head and neck surgeries; thyroid gland removal; various kinds of plastic surgery; and biopsies.

All patients referred to us will have consultation through our Prepare Program before surgery. Most patients will be eligible for a phone consultation to prep for their procedure.

Our team will provide a caring and comfortable environment. Our surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing and perioperative staff have many years of experience to support you during your time of surgical need. We appreciate your trust in us.
